I really love this period of Byrne's work where he was experimenting with Duo-Shade boards, as it gave the published work an extra added dimension when printed. Having this page is quite a coup, too, as it was quite exciting back when this was published to see a modern day legend putting down his finishes over a Silver Age legend like Curt Swan. The fact that it's also an action oriented page and a Legion appearance is just sweet icing on the already delicious cake!
