Description

Great Darkness Saga Epilogue.
The Curse
The Legion arrive in time to interrupt the spell and free Shadow Lass and Shadow Kid, thus preventing the acolytes� objective of bringing Mordru back.
However in the brief period that their darkness spell was active, it was enough for Darkseid to harness its power and steal the unborn twin from Saturn Girl. And thus start the fulfillment of his curse.

Fellow art collector and writer Ben Herman wrote about Darkseid�s curse and called Paul Levitz an evil genius.
I believe he should have extended that description to Keith Giffen who co-plotted The Curse :
Legion of Super-Heroes: The Curse of Validus
