DescriptionThis hobby continues to surprise me! Another fairly unthinkable has happened and I was fortunate enough to pick up a published Metamorpho piece by his co-creator! Unreal. This is the variant cover for issue three of Danger Street. Inks & colors were done digitally by Doc Shaner. It’s the best of both worlds, a published cover & I get to retain Ramona’s beautiful pencils! Metamorpho doing is part to clean up the streets! I actually picked this up awhile back not knowing what series it was set to be used for. I deduced it was going to be Danger Street once I realized Metamorpho’s involvement, but then the series got pushed back so I had to wait!I decided to wait until today, the issues publication date to post to shed light on the fact that in 2023, Ramona Fradon has a new comic book featuring her art! That’s simply astounding! I really am constantly awed by Ramona and the art she continues to produce! I’m also quite happy that she is still getting the occasional cover gig from DC! She’s an incredible talent and a true legend! Also a big thank you to Scott Kress for arranging Ramona of sign a copy of the issue for me. Great addition to have in the collection! Social/Sharing |

Such a treat to see. Totally love that this happened and DC stepped up with a historic artist for a variant like this!

Same here! I love that DC still will send a cover gig her way occasionally. Certainly wish they'd do it more, but at least they did it here where it absolutely makes sense given Metamorpho's involvement in the series.

She should be honored with more cover opportunities! That control of line and form is remarkable.

Agree 100% Her output is still very impressive. I'd love to see more Fradon variants in 2023!!

Thanks so much! Completely agree! Every new piece I see of hers is such a treat. This one is so fun, even though I think those three criminals have a lengthy road to recovery in front of them! Metamorpho isn't messing around!!
