Description

Amanda Petrie alone in a city dreamscape.

This one took a bit of detective work to figure what it was from.

It appears to be a continuation of the storyline which ended in Warlock 5 issue 15, as issue 16 abruptly starts a new direction for the title (with a new publisher), and old plot threads were dropped. Keown penciled the published issue 16 as well.

For a September 1988 Aircel comics publication.

Sustained some water damage on top panel due to poor packaging (and USPS leaving it out in the rain).

Cool shading and lighting effects. Very high quality work for the 80's indies. The linework for the girl has a great flow of movement as a contrast against the steel grid structures.

Arrgh the double whammy of poor packaging and weather! Really great art though--really good shading and flow of sequence. Nice detective work too.
