DescriptionStar Wars: Legacy (Volume 2) #9 Pg. 21. Digital layouts/blueline pencils, ink wash, and white paint by Brian Thies. Written by Corinna Bechko and Gabriel Hardman.Star Wars week/month continues, May the 5th and beyond? Ok well I don't have enough unposted Star Wars art to last the entire month, but I'll keep this streak going while I still can, and for this one I have my fellow Star Wars art collecting buddy Jeff Wedding to thank. He sent this page my direction as a gift back in January, shortly after my grandfather passed away, which I was struggling with at the time. An awesome gesture from an awesome guy, who has quickly become one of my best friends in the hobby. Thanks so much for this piece, and all the generosity you have shown me and to others in the community in general, Jeff! This volume 2 series of Star Wars: Legacy comics came out in 2013/2014 originally through Dark Horse Comics and are now considered "Legends", ie...not canon. This page features a future descendant of Han Solo and Princess Leia, Ania Solo. As well as the IG-series assassin droid AG-37 (I think?). It takes place more than 130 years after A New Hope. Both characters who are not actually officially part of established canon now (Jeff can correct me if I'm wrong though I'm sure!). Also some sweet space battle action here. I still need to give this series a proper read through, luckily it's available on Marvel Unlimited! The ink wash work on this series by Thies is super cool all around as you can see in the many pages Jeff has also posted from the same series. I really am a fan of Brian's ink work on this series. I keep saying it, but I really mean it. And Ania is a Solo descendant (not daughter) as this is set about 135-140 years after the battle of Yavin. And you are most welcome Kavi.

Ahhh right , I thought I saw the timeline in a synopsis somewhere in the issue but I totally forgot about it. Thanks for the clarification - and again for the gift. The ink work is really great 👍🏽

Oh, now you tell us she's not the daughter. I guess the following will be considered non canon too...
Brother Kylo, Brother Kylo, where are you?
Here Thies am, here I am. Knights of Ren too?
Mommy Leia, Han and Leia, where are you?
Here Thies am, here I am. Wedding gift too.
Solo Smuggler, Han is father, where are you?
Deadbeat dad, deadbeat dad. With Bacca Chew.
Sandgirl orphan, Force awakens, where are you?
Rey I am, Rey I am. Skywalker too?
Kylo's sister, Solos' daughter, Dark Horse's through.
Here Thies am, here I am. Non canon too.

Marcus, I believe you have successfully retconned the whole storyline. And set up the premise for a new Disney trilogy merging Star Wars characters with Back to the Future themes. Brilliant!

This is great! I think the Legacy series were some of the best media to come out of the EU.
