Description

Hercules: Heart of a Hero Hercules and Megara Little Golden Book Cover Illustration (Walt Disney, 1997). Here is an unbelievably rare original cover illustration featuring Hercules and Megara from the Little Golden Book Hercules: Heart of a Hero. Released with a Smart Pages implement advertising you can "read and listen with pages that talk," this book was released in 1997, in line with the release of the beloved Disney film. The image is rendered masterfully in gouache on 13.5" x 17.5" board, and it bears a "Property of the Disney Enterprises, Inc." stamp. A protective sheet of acetate overlays the piece, and it shows very little handling and edge wear with light debris in the white border at the top edge. A printed image of the book cover is with the art . The condition of this is Very Good.
