Wildstorms Team 7 and Weapon X's Team X both try and pull off covert ops missions at the same time. And if all that wasn't enough, guest staring Omega Red.

The two most violent teams from comicdom's most popular companies go head-to-head! Team X, the psychos that would become Wolverine, Maverick and Sabretooth, is sent on a covert mission into unfriendly territory and run face first into Team 7, the nutzos that would become Grifter, Dane, Lynch and Deathblow.

In a small Mid-Eastern country, two covert teams of black operatives converge on a secret base where super-soldier technology is being developed. Each team has a similar objective but are working independently and are oblivious to each other’s presence. That is not a situation that is likely to endure.

Before Logan became Wolverine of the X-Men, and Creed became Sabretooth and North became Maverick they were part of the Weapon X program. Similarly, Team 7 features Lynch who later mentored Gen13 and Dane who would come to lead Wetworks, as well as Cash who became Grifter of WildC.A.T.S. and Cray, the soldier of fortune known as Deathblow. This is a tale taken from established characters’ pasts that provides a glimpse of what made them what they are.
