Description

While I was a big admirer of Opena's run on X-Force, I must admit that I did not read the Avengers - Rage of Ultron one shot. Still when I saw this sequence I found it mesmerizing. The threatening Ultron approaching his "father" in a Oedipian crescendo is a great example of storytelling. Love it!

I was just looking at this page! Love it, from top to bottom, starting with that shadowed face. Opena's pure illustration and storytelling chops were on full display in this one-shot! Congrats!

The approaching footsteps panel is like a horror movie when you know this is not going to be a pleasant experience.

Opena is a great storyteller! This reads like a movie storyboard. The view point of each panel is spot on! Adds to the tension and drama
