Description

Early 2000 I thoroughly enjoyed a series of Genis-Vell written by Peter David. Naturally it was a treat getting the series artist, Chris Cross, to do a commission. Not only of Genis but Moondragon training him to master his cosmic awareness. Even after all these years Cross’ art can capture the speed of light journey among the cosmos.

The perspectives and extreme foreshortening is used to create a strong sense of movement right towards the audience! ChrisCross is untethered by story constraints to go all Gil Kane on us!
