Robots, lasers, EXPLOSIONS and space-people, just beautiful.

Cover to the 1990 book Crisis at Starlight written by Robert E Vardeman, painted by Richard Hescox. This is the second book in the three part series titled Biowarriors. I believe Hescox painted the other two covers as well. If anyone had a beat on them I'd love to see em'.

The lighting within this cavernous hangar produces some wonderful colors lit by the full scale conflict of firepower. It represents the struggle of man vs machine.
