DescriptionGeof Darrow renders this hyper detailed 27 x 17 inch variant cover for Skybourne #1. So big. So detailed. So Darrow. The closer I get, the more I see. I'm stoked I own a piece by this absolutely legendary artist. Thanks Andy!BONUS: Skybourne is an original series from Frank Cho. Skybourne is a modern day super-powered, immortal James Bond mashed up with the legend of King Arthur. Had I not found this Darrow art I may not have read it. It is a really GREAT read. Check it out! With this immensity and detail, Darrow once more finds a way to depict modern megalopolis city scenes with a crisp detail that far exceeds expectations. The easter eggs and weirdness throughout make these works more interesting than what a photograph of a cityscape could accomplish. The nods to Cho and other jokes just highlight the mentality that Darrow had when drawing and always building further in storytelling content on this cover.

Filled with more detail than you or I could image, this Skybourne 1 cover blows my mind. It's packed with the tiniest of items and the largest too, case in point the gigantic snake in the city square and the dragon racing down a side street. It's a cacaphony of visual images mashed together on one cool cover.
