DescriptionDay 39. Thirty-One days of Star Wars continues... now onward to 45 days in honor of the 45th anniversary of the original film’s release!While Kit Fisto is keeping all of the battle droids busy, Mace Windu and Rissa Mano sneak into the Separatist base. Rissa splits off to give Kit a hand, while Mace beats feet to take out AD-W4 (the mercenary droid in charge). I got lucky to get issue 5 page 1 at auction at Comic Link, but I went back to the well to try and grab another page featuring Mace himself. Got lucky and put together two consecutive pages. Not bad. UPDATE - this piece was loaned for the exhibit “Collections in Black: A Celebration of Black Comic Book Culture,” which ran from July 2024 through January 2025 at the August Wilson African American Cultural Center in Pittsburgh. I only have the two by Denys, so tomorrow we'll be hooking a sharp turn at Albuquerque as Bugs would say.

This one I think will definitely land in the top five so far. Top three. Pretty dang good Marcus. I think the snakes on the plane nod in this one gives it that extra zing.
