Thunderbolt The Mighty Mortal y The Owl son mis versiones del Capitán Marvel y del personaje homónimo de Dell Comics, respectivamente. He sido fan del trabajo de JK Woodward desde hace unos años y conseguí acordar con él esta commission en condiciones inusuales (dejémoslo ahí, no seáis cotillas).

En cuanto a las peticiones concretas del encargo, aparte de usar mis diseños pedí, por un lado que los personajes estuvieran sonriendo y que el dibujo diese una sensación general gozosa y por otro, que Thunderbolt tuviese la cara de Steve Reeves y The Owl la de William Shatner (ya que Woodward tiene experiencia en este terreno, me doy el capricho de hacer el casting)

Thunderbolt The Mighty Mortal and the Owl are my versions of Captain Marvel and the homonym character from Dell Comics, respectively. I´ve been fan of JK Woodward´s work for a few years and I got to arrange this commission with unusual conditions (let it be, don´t be gossip).

About the specific request for the commission, aside my designs I asked, one, that both character were smiling and a joyful vibe for the drawing. And two, that Thunderbolt had Steve Reeves´ face and The Owl William Shatner´s (once tha Woodward has experience doing this things, I indulged myself and did the casting)

Very successful with your requests as we can see Woodward checking off items while having fun adding more refinement to the costumes and backgrounds.
