DescriptionHere's my latest Peter David Hulk pickup -- a page from the final Jeff Purves issue, which I was lucky enough to buy during the most recent Comic Art Live. This page nicely illustrates the ruthlessness of the Joe Fixit Hulk as he tortures the Abomination for information. The page is inked and signed by the great Marie Severin, who had a memorable run on the Hulk herself in the late 60's. Thanks Dave. I really need to stop myself from buying more Hulk art -- but it's so hard to resist!

I hear you. I had already bought a page from PC myself or I would have probably gone for it. Restraint meant buying one and not 2 lol

Wonderfully done to illustrate that monstrosity is not only defined by how one looks.

Great stuff, Ted. I really enjoyed the Severin inked issues and havign the Abomination is a huge bonus! Damn, can you imagine how cool it would be if his 1st appearance ever hit the market so we could have a chance at owning it?

Ha nice. I'll post that eventually, but it's a pain for me to scan large art, so I might need to keep using your old scan :)

Suh-weet page! LOVED Purves's all too short run on Hulk! Pages like this are why. Great storytelling, fun, unique style...love seeing 'em posted here on CAF. Congrats!
