DescriptionA wonderful 1995 DC cover by two artists that are new to my CAF gallery, Chuck Wojtkiewicz and Bob Dvorak.I play a lot of Scrabble, and if WOJTKIEWICZ was a legal word and was put over two triple letter squares with the "J" and "Z" placed on the double letter squares, it would be worth 513 points. But I digress. Back to the cover! I love having Wonder Woman in her '90s jacket, bikini top and biker shorts, and Hawkman looks awesome too. Then you have all those great Strange Brood characters. Very happy to have this one in my collection. Thanks for looking! Social/Sharing |

Voight-KEV-itch. 😀
I like it for the same reasons you do! I wish Hawkman were used more often though!

And I thought Sienkiewicz was the tough one to spell. Great cover, love the job on Hawkman.

Your Scrabble reference is priceless lol
Hahaha, thanks! And I actually pulled out a scrabble board and list of tile values to figure that out. It's accurate!

It tries to be super busy everywhere with super detail, but it is done is such a clean and orderly manner that all of them fit into a cartoon style.

I'm also a sucker for Wonder Woman in that 1990s Deodato-era costume. Very cool to see here.

I didn't get to read this run of JLA (I left when Jurgens did and came back , when Morrison and Porter took over), but I've always felt I was missing something as the art by Chuck Wojtkiewicz looked incredible and this cover is a great example of his impressive effort !

Does Wonder Woman have roller blades on, too? We'll never know, since it's a 90s page. They even snuck a couple pouches onto Hawkman, too! ;) What a sweet JLA cover. Battle is imminent! I dig all that detail, in the dark, anchoring inks. Congrats!

For me it looks like a Bolland style cover! So beautiful! Congrats
