Description

Winnie the Pooh and Piglet Book Illustration Cel (Walt Disney, c. 1980s-90s). Now here's a real "hunny" of a Winnie the Pooh cel! This hand-painted 12 field 3-peghole cel features Pooh Bear with his closest friend, the somewhat fearful and often nervous little Piglet. The cel was painted at the Disney Ink and Paint Department in Burbank, believed to have been used as a book illustration; quite a few Disney books were illustrated in this fashion. The combined image of Piglet, Winnie the Pooh, and the Hunny Jar has an approximate overall image size of 5.5" x 3.5", placed on a print background for presentation purposes. The cel is in Good to Very Good condition, with a few small paint fleck marks in Piglet's ears and face, and Pooh's right arm.
