Description

Disney Educational Filmstrip - Mickey Mouse and Friends Halloween-Themed Production Cels Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1980). The spookiest time of the year is celebrated by Mickey, Goofy, and their young friends in this pair of original hand-painted 12 field cels, produced for a 1980 Disney educational filmstrip titled Dress Up for Halloween. The first is a setup with a hand-painted background; the cel has Goofy dressed in a blue ape and cowl outfit that looks a bit like the Phantom Blot, plus three kids and Mickey; Goofy's figure size is approximately 6.25" tall, while the gouache background is on 13" x 10.5" illustration board, with a 3-peghole bottom strip on both board and cel. The second cel has Mickey helping the three kids with their costumes; Mickey's figure size measures 4", and the combined image is 10.25" x 7". This cel is placed on a print background, added for presentation purposes. The cel with Goofy has a number of pinpoint flakes of paint out throughout the image, and is in Good condition; the background and the second cel are in Very Good condition with minor handling.
