DescriptionI pick this piece up at the recent Comic Art live expo. It was at a claim sale on Saturday night Held by Jiggy (at next comic art) done by Elmer Cantada. I really love the way he captured the madness of DC comics dysfunctional duo. The sign of a great piece of artwork is that you can see a whole story unfold in this piece. I can just picture it; the joker and Harley have just knocked off a grocery store and the Joker has killed the manager also throwing in one of his jokes. "Do you have Prince Albert in the can? we'll let him out. BAM!!!! they are on the run to the joker mobile and above them the bat light is shining in the night sky. you know Batman will be swinging in any minute to confront the Deadly duo. I just love the way Cantada captures the classic look of Joker and Harley. it's just a fun piece.Social/Sharing |

Great claim! It has all the insane fun of these two nutcases finding joy in whatever they are up to, even if just a short time, before the hammer of Bat justice falls upon them.

Thank you for posting this Brian! I agree with every word! That's the thing about Elmer's work. Even if it's just a single page / pin-up, he LOVES to tell a story! And Joker's his favorite!
