DescriptionPublished 1973.Back up story in Flash. On the Heritage recap on the ComicArtLive You Tube Channel, at 57:01 the panelists expressed shock at the price of the Neal Adams page from Flash. Part of the reason may be because it was an oath page. Oath pages are desirable for Green Lantern collectors. (the other reason may be it was both penciled and inked by Neal - but I digress) I have managed to obtain a couple oath pages - This is the first one. The other is here. Social/Sharing |

I loved the Green Lantern backup stories in Flash. Great page!

Come on, Hart, oath pages have ALWAYS been special! In fact, pages where a character who is known for a familiar catch phrase says it on that page, have always been special. Like FF or Thing pages where he yells "It's clobberin' time!", or Thor pages with Thor yelling "I say the nay!". The green Lantern oath is just so classic and special to get on a page of art!

Beautiful page. Its hard to believe that Green Lantern was at one time just a back up feature
