Psychoblast #1 p24 (1987) Robb Phipps / Al Vey

Some great action on this page from this 80's independent first issue! It starts off with a bang ... literally. A huge explosion following a babe slapping our hero to rouse him and to help him activate his powers which we see happening in the final power.

Al Vey does a great job inking as he would for the Big Two for many years of his career.

Page is in overall excellent condition showing normal wear for its age and handling. Artboard is off-white in color. Blue pencil and white-out were used as part of the creative process. Sound effect in the first panel is an impressive paste-on. Last word panel in the third panel is a paste-on and there is also a small paste-on covering the placement of the original word balloon lower in the panel.
