DescriptionI was lucky enough to get Carl Potts to re-create this iconic cover that he originally illustrated with Jim Lee back in 1989. Legendary.I pre-arranged this commission with Carl a few months ago and picked it up from him in person at Heroes con in Charlotte this past weekend. This made my entire show! He totally killed it and I'm beyond thrilled. Social/Sharing |

Massive congrats, bro! I know how happy you were to get this piece and honestly a wonderful recreation by Carl. I remember seeing a pic of you with this at the con and thinking "great...Daryl's gonna stop hanging out with us now"

Not sure this could've turned out better. What a prize to take home from HeroesCon.

Potts should get more credit that he gets shaping the storytelling and how creators of the time learned about the craft of making successful covers for decades after.

Yeah, who needs Jim Lee anyway? LOL, kidding. You're right, Carl killed it.

I’m stunned! Potts has still got it and this is clear evidence.

Seen this one in person and it's killer! You must have had some fun poring over it, too, it being how big it is! Congrats!
