DescriptionPublished 2021.Amber Blake is a series of comic albums created by Jade Lagardère and Butch Guice and published by Glenat. The first 'La fille de Merton Castle' was published in 2017. The second 'Opération Cleverland' was published in 2018. These were reprinted in English by IDW in 2019. Operation Dragonfly was first published in the US by Heavy Metal in 2021 and reprinted as book 3 by Glenat. Abandoned by her mother at the age of 5, Amber Blake was only a child when she was recruited to the Cleverland Institute, a school for gifted children, where she was promised a bright future. But predators hide in the school's administration and, on the verge of exposing them, Amber finds herself fleeing for her life from the very man who took her in. Now she is a top recruit of a covert agency dead-set on ending human slavery in all its forms. Social/Sharing |

And THIS is why Butch is one of the all-time greatest illustrators in comics history. That cityscape....BRILLIANT! Beauteous babes and beautiful cityscapes. Is there anything more lovely in comics?

I am not at all familiar with this title, but holy smokes the detail in the background is amazing! Really nice cover. Congrats!
