Description

Always wanted a strong Peak example. He was on fire in the 60's pre his movie poster airbrush days. Bold colors, great draftsmanship and composition. What's not to love.

The colors and negative shapes really do pope even when it is 50+ years old. Helps that it is 18x24 inches!

A wonderful composition with linework and some very effective use of brush for the city lights and just as important hair and dress. The angles from the balcony is wonderfully depicted with multiple vanishing points.

This has all the hallmarks you could want in a Bob Peak piece from the tremendous draftsmanship to the evocative composition and striking color choices! It screams cool! Congrats on picking up this beauty!

Absolutely stunning Bob Peak illustration! Love the whole '60s vibe of this piece. People often don't realize how good illustration was in the 1960s when artists like Peak were in their prime. This is a prime example!
