Description

When Peter Bagge asked me to pose for the front cover of I Like Comics back in 1993, I had no idea that the original art would one day sell in a Heritage Comics Art Auction. But it did (in 2013 for a closing bid of $585.55). Now that issue is a prominent prop in the new movie Funny Pages.

Great cover design too with a handsome guy to hook the audience! I remember newsstand sports almanacs with the same kind of mix of photos and graphics with the bright red.
