DescriptionContinuing on with "DPS Ladies Week," here is a fantastic double page splash from Glory #3 (1995) by the great Mike Deodato Jr!The character of Glory was created by Rob Liefeld. This was one of my very first Deodato Jr Glory pieces. Luckily I have been able to acquire more of them over the years. Mike draws her so beautifully! Thanks for looking. More to come tomorrow night. Man if I only had a dollar everytime I found a corpse in my bed, right?! I also love that's she's so surprised she has to do the splits! Amazing DPS...Ha!

She has to stand like that. If she straightens out those long legs, her head will hit the ceiling.

I'm not sure she's doing the splits by choice James. I think her outfit may be literally splitting her in half!

Very nice crime noir style with shadows of window lattice like there is supposed to be some mystery of who done it. All clues lead to Glory's poweful haunches. There should be a dead guy on her bed on a nightly basis if not a line of guys now needing wheelchairs recovering from broken pelvis bones.

Eegh, rough scene! Right when I saw it, such a '90s vibe with the costumes, hair, and Deodato with a more "house style" before going to the more shadow/silhouette-y style he does today. I can dig it! Congrats, Paul!

Grand illustration by the ever amazing Deodato Taumaturgo Borges Filho! All I can think of right now is the early scene in the 1st episode of The Flight Attendant. Perhaps Kaley Cuoco can be cast as Glory in the never coming Glory movie!

I recently re read the first 4 issues and this is a very memorable dps. All 3 main good guys and a dead dude, who just wanted to sell some perfume. Some guys just never learn. Congrats tho
