This is some of Netzer's best in this era adding some of the rough gritty 90's style to his detailed work. This goes for mood in an almost throwback manner with the establishing trainyard shot and Gotham skyline in the distance. Netzer brings you right up close to the 90's street gang and they are not there to look pretty for you. This is one of the early set up issues for Knightfall where Batman begins a gauntlet of challenges (Batman gets shot) and is recognized by many as one that led to hsi eventual defeat at the hands of Bane.
