I think Dragotta was wanted to show a still powerful Jedi master with an image, that if you didn't know his stature, could be an imposing powerhouse under the robes.

Man that's GREAT! Yoda is such a great choice for Dragotta. You can tell he really enjoyed drawing this one. Congrats!
