FANTASTIC Hepburn, Joshua! What a throwback - a beautiful tribute to TMNT #8 and (to show my age) the first "Indy" crossover I can remember. Having these two independently published juggernauts "canonically" in the same book made it feel like the world was opening up, and I remember feeling like all the potential of Indy comics was being laid out before us... A fun and stunning Hep commission, Joshua - what an awesome and unique choice! Congrats!

We must have had very similar experiences in the 80s! TMNT #8 blew my mind. I was already reading TMNT, but I got introduced to Cerebus in that issue (became a huge fan... until later in the run) and the larger world of indy comics.
As you can probably tell from the 'Savage Cerebus & TMNT' art collection, that notion of a ninja turtle (or ninja turtles) being trapped in Estarcion and becomming a barbarian mercenary, adventuring with Cerebus, has been burned in my brain! For me it's the best combo of all the stuff I loved as a kid.
