The Five Years Later Legion.
The war with the Khunds has begun. The United Planets has heard that the Khundian army has been whipped into a religious frenzy because their goddess, the Demon Mother, has manifested. The Legion uses a Khundian double agent, Orlak, accompanied by Laurel Gand in disguise to investigate this cult of the Demon Mother and finds that the Demon Mother is none other than one of their greatest enemies, Glorith.
Features art from early in the career of Brandon Peterson. Brandon had penciled the previous issue which had an on-sale date of December 1990 and I haven't found any earlier work listed for him.

WOW! Brandon was already breaking in by the end of 1990?!? I mean clearly it looks nothing like the art we all know him for, but still so cool to see!
