I like the Kirby infuences for the future facades and pipes. It reminds us of the Kirby street scenes he used to do of old New York. Marra's imagination goes wild and creates this world that tells a full story. The rampant drug use, hookers, and the ships up above all frame the innocent fish out of water at the center of all this.
