I like to think it was intentional, but who knows. Interestingly, just those letters "No Stan" are inked in a different ink (almost looks like marker/pen) than the rest of the page which is typical brush work. Would love to ask Mike Royer about that one day.

Probably the single best Surfer image of all time. So cool that you have it, and better yet, got to experience it in the Kirby residence.

That's a beautiful pair of pages. I particlarly like this less action packed one. So cool to see Jack and Bill's urban renderings... that police car make's a great panel!  

Roz snapped the photo, and then about a month later he sent me a package with the photo, a note, and a Captain Victory lithograph and blew my little mind. Has there been anyone better than Jack Kirby!??!
