Terrific page from this unforgettable series! Lots of great faces, trees, and lush backgrounds here. Perkins's technique is perfect for this book

Perkins' art is complex and atmospheric to bring that sophisticated suspense to the fore. In this page at the end of the run, all the horror and internal trauma has passed and a joyous tone is achieved. Even with the heavy cover of the forrest ceiling, the spirit soars!
