Description

An interesting time for Gene Colan, when he found himself well outside his wheelhouse, working for Archie in the Archie style. Colan worked for Archie from 1987 until 1991 and this page is from right in the middle, 1989. While he did work mostly in the Archie style for them, he did the "modern day" segments in the 'To Riverdale and Back Again' adaptation in his more usual style. Long-time Archie inker (and good friend of Colan) Rudy Lapick likely helped keep Colan on-model.
