DescriptionLois has her usual dream (from her first decades before „Women’s liberation“ anyway 😊): the marriage with The Man of Steel. Even Richard Nixon appears in the middle panel as a wedding guest, Ugh. Good thing that this was only a dream, without a space suit she wouldn’t have lasted long in space in the last two panels..! Strangely this story was written by DC’s veteran War comics writer and editor Robert Kanigher, maybe this shows his „real side“- heartthrobbing love stories. For all the crap Lois gets for not recognizing that Clark is Superman through the years, she deserves to live out her fantasies as how a couple of men would imagine it playing out. But, pretty romantic with Superman supplying her with oxygen as they fly through space in that last panel.

Great artwork, but Lois needed to realize that she'd be better off with good old reliable Clark Kent. Superman is way too busy saving the universe to have time for a wife.

Classic Lois Lane page by Irv Novick! Beautifully drawn page as Lois dreams of marrying Superman! Wow--We've come a long way from this era, haven't we? Nevertheless, it's beautifully laid out by Novick and superbly inked by Mike Esposito! Congrats!

Indeed a lovely page, full of romantic naivety but ironic at the same time. And Novick is still a very underrated artist!
