Description

Ms. Tree is only featured as the adult we know in a couple of panels, but this page is still a delight to see with its step back into Ms. Tree's youth.

Ms. Tree was extraordinary in that it frequently dealt with controversial political and sexual issues, yet never used that as a venue to push a particular biased opinion. This particularly storyline had to do with the nature of violence itself.

That bottom row of yearbook photos and text are cool! Beatty captures the fashions of the times and how formal dress affairs up they used to be to bring you back to your own photo day.
