Description

I have to admit - at this point I have not yet read or watched "The Old Guard". Since it's written by Greg Rucka & drawn by Leandro Fernandez, it was going to end up on my list anyways, but Heroes Comic Con felt like a good excuse to become more familiar with the Image comic.

Leandro (also known for Ennis' Punisher MAX, Wolverine, ...) was there, sold me a copy of the first TPB & signed it for me. Since he also did commissions at the show at a very cheap price, I signed on and let him choose what to do.

He wanted to draw Andy from "The Old Guard" & decided to do a recreation of the very first cover of the series.

And I absolutely love it!
