Description

So, there's obviously a long version of this story, as I originally commissioned this piece at Wizard World Chicago in 2017 but I'll skip most of that and just say that I love to get sketches of characters by their creators (or co-creators, whatever the case may be) and the Rick Jones Hulk from around the beginning of the Peter David run on the book holds a lot of nostalgia for me. So, if anyone was going to do that character, I wanted it to be Steve Geiger. (And look closely at the moon. It truly looks like a comic from days gone by. So very cool.)

It was a wait but my patience paid off as I have yet another tremendous sketch to add to my legendary (I say with all modesty) Hulk Friends, Foes, and Family Sketchbook.
