The Avengers battle against Pluto!

I love that this features Thor in his weakened state with his special battle armor and beard.
This shows that this story was concurrent with the tail end of Walter Simonson's epic run on the Thor title!

From the incomparable John Buscema / Tom Palmer team in that unique 80's look they had for the Avengers.

One of my fav stories period . As a Namor fan I loved this team and the fact he was one of the big players to rescue the captive Avengers . It was a lot of fun I'd kill for a page from this very arc with some Subby love.
