Description

Always wanted a page from an Alan Moore epic....so here we are with a pantheon of Gods. I like the depiction, inking, chat/dialogue bubbles used for the Gods...it gives an un-worldyness to them and their sense of scale on the page makes them something to behold. The top panel alone has 4 gods, a wolf, an ape/monkey and a horse! Cool page and glad to have it in the collection.

JH Williams III double pagers from Promethea are special events in themselves. They often take on some form of classical, literary illustration, or strip artwork showing Alan Moore's influences and themes and it is drawn to excat precision by JHWIII. It shows his range to adapt to these stories and probably the most visually intense of all the ABC titles.
