Description

Marvel Girl watercolor commission picked up at Lightbox Expo. Victoria said she had fun looking up the X-Men character and her history. This is the original Jack Kirby costume from Jean Grey’s debut in X-Men #1 (1963). Victoria was a visual development artist for Disney features and other studios. She has illustrated Little Golden Books and other childrens books. The artist drew the DC graphic novel Diana: Princess of the Amazons and the upcoming sequel. Victoria wrote and drew the graphic novels City of Secrets and City of Illusion from Viking. First Second Books will publish her graphic novel Hungry Ghost.

Super cute! The school uniform era of X-Men is great and being more plain allows for the true artistry of form to be featured.
