DescriptionMcMaxy Fan Strikes Again!A lovely page featuring Maxima and Brainiac from the Panic In The Sky event! Panic In The Sky is one of the great stories from the early 90's and showcased Maxima, which led to her joining the Justice League. This is my second page from this arc, but from one of my favorite artists! When I give print outs to folks for commission reference, one of the four images is a Grummett and two of the four are Panic In The Sky related! Social/Sharing |

Very nice page! I still lament missing out on the cover for the Panic In The Sky TPB years ago.
I'd lament the story pages I passed up, but given the commissions I got instead I've no regrets.

Love how the ship and stars panel holds the other four within it.

My kingdom for Panic In The Sky pages! My kingdom for Panic In The Sky pages! Pages from this storyline have always been genuinely scarce on the market, far moreso than DoS pages, so it's always a real coup to land one. I love the stark contrast between Warworld and the stars against the deep black of outerspace in the first panel. Brainiac and Maxima being featured make this page tailor made for your collection, Derek!

Hey man, I love my Grummett art, but I love all of my body parts even more and have none to spare! Just want to make that clear in case any holders of Tom Grummett art get any fanciful ideas.

Panic in the Sky is a great example of why the Superman books were at the top of my reading list for the first few years of the 1990s. Congrats on landing a page from such a classic story.
