DescriptionJean Giraud (Moebius) Break in the Desert Illustration Original Art (1997). This unpublished illustration was drawn by Moebius in 1997 for the Petits Papiers gallery in Brussels. A gorgeous piece, with vibrant colors, created edge-to-edge in mixed media on 5" x 6.25" Bristol board. Signed and dated in the lower right. The piece has been affixed to a matting backing board and matted to 9.5" x 11.75". A beautiful, vibrantly colored piece created edge to edge in mixed media on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5 x 16 cm. Signed and dated lower right. The work has been fixed on a support board for a mat and matted in the format 24 x 30 cm. In Excellent condition. Social/Sharing |

Gorgeous colors show up even when covered by the shade. The difference in brightness is what makes this so intriguing. Nothing escapes the master artist, so he considered everything top to bottom of this. Having it displayed in the sun bright color mats is also very cool.

I think the original is darker, the contrast seems to have been upped here. Cool artwork nonetheless...
