Description

Climactic scene from this groundbreaking series, as the Maestro finds himself at ground zero for the Gamma bomb that created the Hulk

The symmetry as written by Peter David and beautifully illustrated by George on both sides of this double page spread are indeed a memorable moment from this story.

Also happy to have gotten the hand-painted color by colorist extraordinaire Tom Smith

The bomb signals a death page for Maestro and a birth page of the Hulk all in one as it''s the blast that would also create the Hulk in the first place! Perez at the top of his game in 1993.

Absolutely amazing pick up Michael! Loved this story and what an ending. Perez was nothing short of legendary on this book in my eyes.
