Description

This is a marker remark in the Dave Johnson Boom issued sketchbook hardcover.

Basically all of Dave sketchbooks, self-produced or not, showcase a squared blank area in the front of the book to allow for a remark.

I �met� Dave through ebay decades ago and bought 5 copies of his Devil Pig sketchbook sight unseen JUST to get 5 different remarks from him.

It may sound ridiculous right now but at the time (early 100 bullets-ish) Dave wasn�t selling any of his art (if you were into his art back when, you may remember that fact). So that was my only option then to obtain art from one of my artistic heroes, a former Gaijin Studio member, which probably remains my favorite �artistic school� in US comics to this day.

Now having met him face to face during Facts 2022, I feel like the circle is complete. Or should I say that the square is squared? 😉
