DescriptionWell, it's 8:20pm, and I'm sitting here in my south Florida pad as Hurricane Nicole bears down on us. Expected to make landfall here on the east coast in about four hours. Our hurricane shutters (which are all closed) are rattling out a symphony. What fun!In the meantime, I figured I'd post a cover that always makes me smile when I look at it. Cuz I need to be thinking happy thoughts right now. Here we have Rocket and Groot, along with Agent Coulson, driving up the side of a building in LOLA. Rocket and Groot are havin' a blast, but Phil could loosen up a bit. Hahaha, I just love fun covers like this. Thanks for looking, and wish us luck down here in Florida! Social/Sharing |

This really IS fun! But not for the reason you think. It's fun because you're either playing a little gag on me or you've inadvertently made your theme for this week's art posts "Characters with huge shoulder pads who appear to be trying out for a 1980's NFL team"!

Hahaha! It's not an intentional theme ... must be subconscious. And now that you point it out, it's pretty glaring. I am Groot!!

I can hear the roar and rumble of Lola. Although if the car can fly, why does it need to be so close to surfaces at all?
