Description

This page is from the the very first issue and shows Ms. Tree in her trademarked trench-coat and with the very pronounced kiss-curl she had in her early days of the strip. For the first 3 issues of the series, the title was the cumbersome MS. TREE'S THRILLING DETECTIVE ADVENTURES (since the comic was meant to be more than a single character series), so one can see in the top margin that the abbreviated title given is "Ms. Tree's." Although I bought the original cover to MS. TREE #1 from Terry Beatty several years ago, I have never had an interior page to the issue until now.

Ms. Tree was extraordinary in that it frequently dealt with controversial political and sexual issues, yet never used that as a venue to push a particular biased opinion.
