DescriptionPsychoblast #1 p20 (1987) Robb Phipps / Al Vey First ComicsThis page features a pretty woman who is one of the main characters being attacked by a huge fisted energy construct check out that huge middle panel with the action! This is nice artwork that could easily have come from the Big Two. Part of that is no doubt due to the very early excellent inks of Al Vey who would go on to illustrate numerous characters at Marvel and DC. Here is a nice inexpensive page that is 35 years old from one of the original independent comic companies. This page is off-white in color and in excellent condition showing only minor wear from handling. There is a piece of tape in the left and right margins. Page number at the bottom is a paste-on. Although it can not be confirmed I think artwork is under the paste-on because the sound effect in that panel is on the board with the paste-on cut to show it. Comic cover is for reference only and is not included with the artwork nor is a copy of the comic. Social/Sharing |
