DescriptionI was delighted to meet Álvaro Martínez Bueno at the San Francisco Fan Expo, where he created this twisted portrait of Walter, the otherworldly central character of "The Nice House on the Lake". I've really enjoyed this series and wanted to get some OA related to this story, despite the fact that the artist works digitally nowadays, and this commission really scratched the itch for me. There isn't anything else like this unique series on the shelves IMO and I can't wait to read the next issue!My hat's off to Álvaro for managing to crank this out during the show --- it's just what I was looking for! This is terrific! Alvaro's work on NHOTL is bonkers and this sketch is simply a brilliant evocation of it.
