You can still see some colored pencil as well.

I don't know the character or the game but I liked the piece as soon as I saw it.

There was some digital art happening and the image was flipped in the final art. The head / face are different. Also, the positioning of the sword and adjacent arm. But this is the line art. So not really a prelim but an intermediate step before the digital art that was printed as a card.

I like the original so much more than the final digital version. The linework is so smooth and clean. Really impressive stuff.

These pencils get digitized and manipulated all different ways for the final, but this is the base model from which it all happens, so it needs to be perfect proportionally and sharp in execution.
