DescriptionRobin reunion! Nightwing, Red Hood, Tim Drake, and Spoiler guest-star as they track Damian down with a plan to bring the young hero back to Gotham. Thanks to my new friend and fellow collector Johnny McCloskey, I was able to acquire this beautiful cover by the talented Jorge Corona. The more I see of Jorge's art, the more I appreciate his clean lines, great character designs, and fantastic backgrounds. He knows how to set a scene. For instance, this cover would have felt complete with just the five characters, but he took the time to add those marvelous buildings and all that vegetation below. Bonus!!! I am currently reading the first Middlewest TPB, and I just love everything about it. Thanks, Johnny!! Social/Sharing |

I've never heard of this artist, but he's another example of how much more talent there is across the board in this industry than there has been at any other time in the history of the medium, with such a diverse range of styles!

The batplane is a lot roomier inside than it looks.

That is a GREAT tag line for a "Robin" feature film.

Why would any collector in their sound mind sell this beautiful cover??? Oh yeah, I did. Well that explains a lot!! I'm glad you love it! I couldn't have asked for a nicer collector to get this one. Thanks for your friendship, Paul!!

I love Jorge's work and was lucky enough to pickup some of his work from Middlewest. It's been so cool seeing him do these DC covers. Fantastic piece!

Dynamic ensemble here, and you gotta love how Robin's face is shadowed in the center shot, a la Batman's team covers where he's centered. Scratchy lines work, and that spatter has a nice effect. Corona here kinda reminds me of Scalera, which is a good thing! Congrats!
